We’ve appointed Andrew Helm as Health and Safety Officer to continue to drive our health and safety agenda. This appointment also follows a successful HSE inspection to assess the site’s Covid-19 measures.
Andrew brings over 14 years of experience, where he has gained expertise in managing health and safety across a range of sectors and industries, including manufacturing, research and development, licensed explosive operations.
The new role will involve implementing government guidance and company best practice techniques to ensure all site premises operate with the correct Covid-secure controls, continuously update Covid Risk Assessments, and audit the premises to certify compliance. He will also be responsible for creating and delivering training to ensure all staff are coached in all of the additional control measures as well as assisting the manufacturing premises in the new layout to improve social distancing.
