We stole the show at the 2020 Liqueur Masters as we scooped up 21 awards across four of our brands and a range of own label Tesco products!
In a year that has been our most ‘award-winning’ year to date, we received 8 Silver awards, 7 Gold accolades and 6 ‘Master’ titles at the virtual taste tests.
We have witnessed huge growth in the liqueurs sector following the launch of more innovative and exciting products focussing on quality and great flavour. Not only was it a record year for us but the blind tasting competition revealed a record number of masters medallists for the category.
Palm Beach, our new rum liqueur range, took home a masters medal for its Mango & Passion Fruit variant and a gold award for the Banana & Butterscotch flavour. Both of which are now available nationwide at Tesco. Palm Beach Spiced Vanilla and Palm Beach Watermelon both received silver medals with the Pineapple and Salted Caramel variant awarded gold.
Our much-loved Carthy & Black Gin Cream range also took home two awards at the 2020 event for its two newer flavoured variants, a master medal for Rhubarb and a silver medal for Espresso.
The Liqueur Masters were also a success for both of our gin liqueur ranges, TW Kempton and Jeeves. The TW Kempton range received two master awards for the Rhubarb & Ginger and Blood Orange variants, one gold for the Parma Violet flavour and two silvers for Passion Fruit & Vanilla and Watermelon & Lime. Our gin liqueur range Jeeves which was launched just this year received two golds and two silver medals.
