With the Rum renaissance in full swing, we’ve added another stellar name to our distribution portfolio! Premium rum brand, Marlin Spike, will be joining our exciting newcomers Palm Beach Rum Liqueurs and Hawksbill Spiced Rum.

Based in the Netherlands, Marlin Spike rum combines a unique blend of 3 – 5 year old aged rums of different craft schools and divergent terroir. The intriguing blend of rums from Trinidad & Tobago, Barbados, Jamaica and a fourth Latin American country which the brand keeps secret, provides a fruitier, less floral aroma than many other rums, along with strong spicy undertones of cloves, and a delicate hint of rose and honey.

Marlin Spike rum’s unique blend has, in recent years, seen the brand awarded Gold Medals by the Spirits Business and San Francisco World Spirits Competition, and a silver medal at the World Spirits Awards, in the Gold Rum Premium category.

It’s a really exciting time for the rum category at the moment, so we’re particularly delighted to come on board as the UK distributor for Marlin Spike which adds a premium option to our current rum offering. Marlin Spike is a brand of great quality and heritage, which we think will resonate really well here in the UK.

While Marlin Spike tastes great with ginger beer, it is unique in terms of the rum category in that it is best served with tonic, allowing for entirely new taste sensations. Marlin Spike is therefore, as appealing to gin & tonic drinkers, as it is to discerning rum, bourbon and single malt aficionados.
